New Patients
Your first visit lasts about 90 minutes. I will talk to you about your background, medical history, and main health concerns. I will do a brief physical exam, which includes taking your pulses to assess the state of your Qi. I will make a diagnosis based upon the above information, devise and carry out a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.
In preparation for your first visit:
Wear or bring loose comfortable clothing.
Eat a light meal before your visit.
Refrain from wearing perfume, cologne, or fragrant lotion.
Refrain from alcohol, recreational drugs, or vigorous exercise before and after treatment.
Please bring your completed confidential, Health History and Consent Forms.
Payment and Insurance
Payment in full, by cash or check is due at the time of your visit.
$200.00 for the 1st visit; $140.00 for follow up visits.
I am not a preferred provider with any insurance company. I can provide you with a receipt that includes diagnosis and treatment codes ("Superbill") that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Check with your insurance company about coverage for out of network provider acupuncture.
